Andrew Hoyne founded his design agency in 1991. The focus of Hoyne has always been to create inventive brands and marketing ideas that engage, entertain and make a clear point. As leader in brand creation, property marketing and placemaking, Andrew has created the drum logo for Triple J, designed stamps for Australia Post, created a leading beer brand in Pure Blonde, rejuvenated heartland food and beverage brands from Vegemite to Peter Lehmann Wines and rebranded Hudsons and Snooze. In the property sector, Hoyne work with major Australian and international developers such as Mirvac, Lend Lease, Investa, GPT and Frasers Property on building brands that position developments as destinations. Andrew’s creativity has been recognised as a finalist and winner of more than 350 prestigious industry awards from around the world. Andrew’s most recent book is The Place Economy, a 400+ page collection of insights about the real world social and economic benefits of effective placemaking. Currently celebrating 26 years, with a team of 70 people in 3 offices. Hoyne loves challenges which utilise vison, passion, collaboration and interrogation to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Santi is the co-founder of Practical Design Studio – a notable communication design studio based in Bangkok. He is also an active educator serving as visiting lecturer at Thailand’s most prestigious universities. He is also known as an expert in visual identity design with the high profile clients in Thailand. Parallel with his commercial work, he frequently presents his works as a visual artist and curator. His work has been showcased in solo and group exhibitions from time to time in Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong. In 2015, he was awarded Designer of the year in Graphic Design category from Silpakorn University and Thailand Institute of Design and Innovation Promotion, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. In the same year, he was also selected by Wallpaper Thai Edition as one of “Designer of the year” in Design Achievement Category. He has just published his first book “Santivithee 1” in which, collected his vision from design and teaching experiences.
Professor Song Xiewei is a Faculty Dean at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) as a lecturer and mentor to students doing their doctorate programme. He is a member of CAFA Academic Committee, a distinguished expert of National Art Museum of China and a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI). Professor Song is an art practitioner who is committed to continuously update his knowledge and promote the importance of design. He is an innovative educator who follows closely on new disciplines in design and inspires with new ideas. He uses a systemic research on the perspectives of globalisation, national strategies and social issues as the basis to promote sustainable development of art and design.
Cheryl Chong is the General Manager at Bits & Bytes Marketing Sdn Bhd. She joined Bits & Bytes Group in 1999 and started the Malaysia operations in the same year. Cheryl is responsible for all sales & marketing operations, especially in developing the market for their own house brand, DATAJET premium inkjet paper.
Cheryl has over twenty five years of working experience in Sales & Marketing management. She has worked in different industries such as Manufacturing, System Integrator (SI) and IT distribution. Prior to joining Bits & Bytes Group, Cheryl was based in Singapore.
Cheryl’s greatest strengths are her drives and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. She is passionate about helping and maximises businesses with quality solutions. She is also a certified partner of Fogra, where she provides on-site support for the certification of print shop according to “Process Standard Offset” (ISO 12647) in Malaysia.
Trevor’s career with Arjo Wiggins started 28 years ago after graduating in printing. His first position was a Scientific Officer in the printing laboratory of the Research and Development facility, supporting Arjo Wiggins mills and evaluating papers using various equipment and printing presses. Using this experience, he was able to support the Marketing department in the promotion of Arjo Wiggins brands and advise printers and designers how best to get the full potential from their papers. In recent years, he manages a dedicated team who continue to support customers across the world with print and paper training, pro-active print and paper testing and professional after sales care.
Wang Haiying has a vast 22-years experience in the management of printing process and dedicates himself to the printing industry. Before joining QL-Art, he had been working in China Renmin University Press.
Having a professional print background and an excellent leadership form Mr Wang’s greatest strengths. He has a keen interest on optimising or reforming the production process and is always willing to try new technologies, techniques and materials. He is also actively developing the construction of standard color management in the company.
